/ As a huge surprise, Saigon was an interesting and attracting city for me to visit, where the occidental and oriental mix in the architecture and the lifestyle as well give you the opportunity to discover an active and modern place, but witch still conserves all the traditions, the kindness and hospitality of its inhabitants (a lot more than in the north I found... probably because there is so much tourists all year long). The locals just like the foreigners were minded and ready to celebrate the Vietnamese's New Year occasion and holidays (the "Têt"), while was starting our journey... as we could see in all the surrounding crowded streets decorated with loads of illuminated flower trees, colored and costumed traditional dances and acrobatic shows with proud dragons demonstrating to everyone their talents. And of course... many other memorable meetings with friends... greetings to Michèle and Priska, Akita, Alex, Dania and Alessandro. Hope everyone is doing great and all the best in your lives and adventures to come! ;) By the way, last thing that I have to mention about this city, just like almost everywhere I've been in the South of Vietnam, local people I met there were so friendly and open, better english speakers as well, so much that I would say, in a small perspective, my little trip over here and there was like a rediscovery of the country and its many sub-cultures and landscapes.
