/ THE TRAIN RIDE...
C'est le Jour de l'an (le nôtre oui, en tant qu'Occidentaux, soit le 1er janvier), ou presque... en fait, c'est pour célébrer l'occasion, le temps d'une fin de semaine, les 5, 6 et 7 janvier 2013, avec un groupe de jeunes d'une école de Hai Phong que quelques volontaires et moi avions déjà rencontré dans un autre événement de fin de semaine à Hanoi précédemment... ils n'avaient fait la route pratiquement que pour nous voir et participer aux jeux qu'on leur avait proposés). Cette fois, nos activités étaient tous basés sur le thème à l'honneur, tentant de leur faire découvrir du même coup les traditions occidentales vis-à-vis cet événement annuel international!
/ It's New Year's day! (ours, as Occidental people yes, so the 1st of January) ...or almost actually, the four of us with a few VPV staff members and volunteers made the road to Hai Phong the weekend of the 5, 6 and 7 of January 2013 to celebrate the occasion with the kids of a local school that some other volunteers and I had the chance to meet a while before in Hanoi, for another weekend event and who, as we were told, came there almost only to meet us and participate to our games). This time, we made the road ourselves and the activities we presented them were all running around the same central theme (New Year and New Year's Eve celebration around the world, and so were also intentionally prepared to make them discover occidental and other cultures' traditions and celebrations for this special annual and international holiday!

Et le lendemain, au petit matin... non c'est pas fini, deux, trois pas de danse, sortez les ballons et les gros sacs à patates question de sauter un peu... allez on se bouge!
/ The morning after... nop, it's not done yet! Shake your body guys, 1.2.3. go, take out the balloons, the big potato bags, dance, jump and run, common! ;)
